Outside of the Pass and Don’t Pass lines, you can make plenty of other bets in craps. Here are some of the most recognisable for new players…
Taking Odds: This bet sits behind your Pass bet and offers you the chance to multiply your odds on a Pass win. So, you could get 5x your odds here, but have to place a bet of an equivalent ratio to your original bet in order to play with those bigger odds.
Come: The Come line is the same as the Pass line, only it’s a bet on the next roll of the dice after the shooter rolls their first number. If you bet here and the next roll is 7 or 11 then you win.
Place bets: These are bets placed on the 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10 numbers — those numbers that come into play only if the comeout roll hits them. Place bets can be made and rescinded at any time. You win a place bet if your number appears before a 7 is rolled.
Field bets: You can place a Field Bet at any time. Here, you’re betting on one of the following numbers comes up the next time the dice are rolled: 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, 12. Numbers 2 and 12 pay double, which makes this a potentially lucrative bet.
Proposition bets: The propositions are found in the centre of the table. Simply place your chips on the exact dice outcome you think will happen. If the dice roll the same numbers, you win.
Horn bets: Also in the centre of the table, the Horn bets are placed for one roll only on one of four combinations. These are the least likely combinations in Craps online – 2, 3, 11 or 12. You could win up to 30x your bet if you win on this option.
Any craps: Bet on 2, 3 or 12 coming up in the next roll of the dice.
C & E bets: Place a chip on the C for ‘any craps’ number, of E for the number 11.
Seven: Also called ‘Big Red’, this is a bet on 7 appearing on the next roll of the dice and pays out 5 to 1.
